Who We Serve
Homeowners
A Loyal Community of Family and Friends Referrals
The majority of our work comes from our satisfied customers! Whether it is a new kitchen layout or expansion, removing interior walls to maximize floor space, adding a master bedroom and bath over your existing garage, adding a sunroom, office or living room, building an in-law suite or purchasing land to build a custom home, we work closely with you to provide the best options to meet your family’s current and future needs, all within your budget.
Many home owners, prior to our first meeting, have already chosen their contractor(s) who they want to work with. We welcome introductions to your contractor(s) as some like the way we interface with them and want to do other work with us.
Residential Projects
Referred by Our Contractors
Many homeowners know what Contractors do but few know what an experienced (architectural) Designer does. The process for a simple building project can be very overwhelming due to the number of individuals and organizations involved.
Making the Experience Fun
We partner with you. We remove stress and frustration from the beginning though completion. We do this by listening and then asking ask appropriate questions. We assess what works and what doesn’t. We help you formulate your visions/goals into a buildable plan. We mold your goals into a lively and most enjoyable space to live, and now-a-days, to work. We do all the research and communications necessary to satisfy the zoning and building permit approval process. We work closely with your contractor to incorporate the necessary information to avoid delays during the construction phase.
Most homeowners need us. Mainly because constructing buildings without a plan and required approvals can be disastrous both emotionally and financially. If the design process is avoided and clear communications are missing, assumptions can lead to an end results being built which may be quite different than what you envisioned or were promised.
The Design Process
Having design management pros, like DiCicco, by your side can save time and money. The “design process” is an intellectual exercise expressed in graphic form to solve a specific problem.
Whether that problem is re-arranging an existing kitchen for the serious cook at home or building a new facility for hundreds of people to interact on a daily basis for a business, school or institution.
It is within the process that information is discussed, prioritized, filtered & represented graphically in a clear and concise plan.
